Find-StainedGlassPatterns.com Finally Re-Vamped

I have been chained to the computer for the past 3 weeks re-coding and re-vamping Find-StainedGlassPatterns.com - I am malnourished, pale, brain-dead and in dire need of being aired out and dusted. And my carpal-tunnel is killing from the repetitive cutting and pasting.

The improvements include:
  • thumbnails (for the patterns for which I own the copyright, or are displayed on websites under my control)
  • a new horizontal roll-down menu, new easier-to-find categories
  • a note if the pattern is a PDF file
  • a note if the pattern needs to jump through a redirecting page
  • a fresh broken link checker scan-through

What next? I do have a panel that needs glass cutting, leading, etc. Perhaps in the next post!

Best way to find stained glass patterns on the internet!

FIND-stained glass patterns now has a new look. In the next few months, I will be adding thumbnails of my patterns next to the links in each separate topical category.

This will result in a more efficient user experience.

A few years ago, I toiled for weeks to create this listing of individual pattern links in topical categories. I was the first to do this - because it was a monumental amount of work. Now, many webmasters have taken this work and re-copied the code in their own websites. There is still one thing that cannot be stolen; that is, for me to add thumbnails of my own patterns, which only I can do, being the copyright owner. Furthermore, as I create a disproportionate amount of free stained glass patterns on the web, the majority of the links do feature thumbnails.

I am committed that FIND-stained glass patterns remain the best and most up-to-date individual pattern listing on the internet. As an online pattern publisher, FIND-stained glass patterns is always the first to be updated, as I am the first to know what pattern I just published.

Enjoy!

Door Patterns Here At Last!

Raining Rose Water, a pattern based on a slanted, repeated tiling motif, is now online and available in a number of standard door inset sizes, including sidelights.

More will be coming! There will be a realistic magnolia pattern, and a modernist leaf pattern coming up.

Fillo Family Wins Thistle Panel

The panel was made with the assistance of several volunteers from Beaconsfield as part of the "Journées de la Culture." The panel was not quite finished at the end of the "marathon" event. Michelle Janis from the cultural services drew the winning ballot, the Fillo family being the lucky winners.
